Our primary focus at Caraker Law Firm, P.C., is to assist taxpayers with the resolution of a variety of tax needs and problems. We represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, Missouri Department of Revenue and Colorado Department of Revenue. We will work with other State taxing authorities as allowed by their state laws. We work with individuals and businesses from all over the States of Missouri and Colorado and throughout the United States.

Chad Caraker

Caraker Law Firm, P.C. is owned and operated by Chad R. Caraker. Chad attended University of Illinois for undergraduate work, and received his Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri - Columbia in 1998. For over ten years, he has focused on the resolution of tax problems for clients. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Colorado and works with clients nationwide when dealing with federal tax matters. His practice also includes business and estate planning, along with trust and probate administration.  Mr. Caraker also provides representation related to the preparation of estate planning documents, estate administration and business organization law.

April Roof

In 2005, April L. Roof joined Chad to assist with client cases. In July 2007, she became an Enrolled Agent and currently assists Chad in the representation of clients before the taxing authorities.

Jeffrey Richter

In June 2007, Jeffrey D. Richter joined the staff, and is our Financial Analyst. His focus is on the analysis of financial documentation related to the preparation of the firm’s plan of resolution for client tax problems.

Laurie Grimes

Laurie Grimes joined Caraker Law Firm, P.C., in February 2009. She is the lead Paralegal and manages client support as well as many other duties.
